SINGAPORE – In an alarming incident on December 2, a man was apprehended after authorities discovered a knife, two electronic vaporisers, and various drug paraphernalia in his van following a traffic collision near the Tanjong Katong Complex in Paya Lebar.

Responding to the scene, they quickly placed a 42-year-old van driver in custody for possessing an offensive weapon and for suspected drug-related offenses. The situation escalated as the driver of the car, a 44-year-old man, was promptly taken to Changi General Hospital by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) for treatment. Meanwhile, two other individuals involved in the incident were evaluated on-site but declined hospital transport.
