Tragedy Strikes in Calgary: A Night of Violence

A shocking shooting late Thursday night in northeast Calgary has left one man dead and another seriously injured. The chaos erupted around 11 p.m. when police were called to a residence on Coral Springs Circle N.E. after reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two men at the scene who were quickly rushed to the hospital. Sadly, one of them was pronounced dead shortly after, while the other was initially in critical condition but has since stabilized.

Details Emerge: Roommates at the Center of Conflict

Authorities believe both victims were roommates at the home where the tragic incident occurred. Currently, police do not have any suspects beyond the deceased man, who has been preliminarily identified as the suspect in the shooting.

Staff Sgt. Sean Gregson revealed that eyewitness accounts indicate a dispute between the two roommates escalated dramatically, leading to the eruption of violence. Four individuals were present in the residence during the incident, leaving them in a state of shock after witnessing the harrowing events unfold.
